With over 20 years of experience, particularly in the field of web development, I’ve been part in many different projects.

Over the years, I’ve mostly enjoyed the fields of eCommerce, data migrations and API integrations. Most of my experience is with WordPress and its related technologies, but also have significant projects under my belt using both the Laravel and Symfony frameworks. In addition to PHP and JavaScript, I’m also proficient in the Go and Rust languages, for when raw performance and accuracy is required.

I’m a passioned developer, with a strong focus on quality code, automated testing and developer happiness. Over the years I have worked with large, multicultural teams all over the globe. For example, within the WooCommerce team where one of my responsibilities was managing the growing the team of external plugin developers:

What defines me as a developer

The three main strengths that define me as a developer:

• A constant drive for quality code, automated testing and standards, which results in better quality products and a better developer experience.
• Solid communication and leadership skills, having experience with leading multiple teams all over the world.
• An intuitive feeling for product requirements, which allows me to quickly and accurately translate functional requirements into technical terms.

By combining these three main strengths, is what makes me the developer that I am. I find great value in understanding the challenges at hand and solving them in the most efficient way possible. People also say that I’m quite pleasant to communicate with. 🙂
